DigitalSign together with Polícia Judiciária promotes Biometric Signature Workshop

DigitalSign has promoted past October 28th in partnership with the Scientific Laboratory from Polícia Judiciária and Signotec, the first edition of Biometric Signature Workshop, where legal issues and practical applications of a biometric signature were discussed.

During the event, which had up to 80 participants, were addressed themes and concepts due to handwritten signatures, electronic signatures and qualified digital signatures.

On the subject of biometric signature, issues like security, correct analysis and validation check were addressed, as practical cases were presented.

In the final part of the event, the participants had the opportunity to test the technology and testify in fist hand the potentialities and safety characteristics of biometric signatures.

The reunion showed great possibilities for process dematerialization using this technology, since biometric signature has efficiency and gathers more information of the signing individual than the handwritten signature itself.
