What is European Digital Identity?

A technology in which European citizens have control of their data and how this data is used.

How will EUDI Wallet work?

From December 2026each Member State shall make one available free of charge. European Digital Identity Card (EUDI Wallet) to all citizens, allowing secure transactions with businesses across the EU.

Innovative and safe companies will have their own Business e-Walletoperated by a QTSP as DigitalSign, for issue and manage digital credentials customers, employees and suppliers.

All e-Wallets follow the same technical standards, ensuring interoperability (import and export of documents and credentials) between organisations and EU countries, the new European standard for data identification and control.
