Documentary and contractual management becomes significantly simpler and more efficient.

Do not waste critical deadlines or time searching for documents in your digital archive.

This service also ensures that the previously validated electronic signatures shall remain valid for the period as defined.

Although an electronic signature typically has a maximum technical validity of about 3 years, many contracts require time limits of substantially higher legal validity, which is ensured through our qualified preservation services.

These services are fully integrated with our solution DS SigningDesk.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a qualified service to validate qualified electronic signatures or qualified electronic seals?

DigitalSign, as Qualified Trust Services Provider, has created Verify – a qualified service for validating qualified electronic signatures or qualified electronic seals – where it is possible to verify whether a qualified electronic signature or a qualified electronic seal affixed to an electronic document is in fact valid in accordance with Regulation No 910/2014. This validation is immediate, safe, simple and effective and is made available on the user screen.

In order to validate a qualified certificate, the user shall submit the electronic document(s) concerned in Verify. After this submission, the validator will show one or more immediate result(s) on the user screen, where it will be possible verify that the qualified certificate is valid or invalid.

After you place the electronic documents you want to validate in Verify, this will automatically demonstrate one of the three possible results:

TOTAL-PASSED: when cryptographic signature checks (including hashe checks of individual data objects that were signed indirectly) were successful, as well as all checks prescribed by the signature validation policy were approved. In other words, the qualified electronic signature or qualified electronic seal shall be valid.

TOTAL-FAILED: the cryptographic signature checks failed (including hashe checks of individual data objects that were signed indirectly), or it is proven that the signature certificate was invalid at the time of signature creation, or because the signature is not in accordance with one of the basic standards, as the cryptographic verification building block is unable to process it. In other words, the qualified electronic signature or qualified electronic seal is invalid.

INDETERMINATED: the results of the checks carried out do not allow verifying whether the signature is valid or invalid. However, If this is the result, then that means that we are not facing a valid qualified certificate.

A validation report is a document demonstrating the results of the validation carried out, which can be used as proof that the signatures and seals present in a document were valid at the time of its creation until the validation was carried out.

The Verify provides two reports concerning the validation process:

Summary Report: this report allows the user to have access to information on the validation process of a particular qualified certificate in a simplified manner.

Detailed Report: this report allows the user to verify all details of the validation process in a detailed manner, in particular at technical level.

For each document all qualified certificates are validated and they're betting on the same thing. In addition, each may have its own validation result.

No, it is possible to insert one or more electronic documents at once, all will be validated and displayed on the user screen.

Where the electronic document has two or more qualified certificates, after the validation of the certificates, it is possible that not all are valid and, for this reason, will produce different results, despite being affixed to the same electronic document.

Any qualified validation service shall provide its services using a validation policy. This policy defines the set of validation restrictions to be used to validate qualified electronic signatures or qualified electronic seals introduced and processed by the Verify.

DigitalSign shall conduct an initial processing of personal data, in particular at the time when the electronic document is loaded by the data subject in the Verify. However, all submitted electronic documents are deleted immediately after completion of the validation process, there is no further processing of any information concerning the content of files submitted, in particular personal data.
