The challenge:
The European Commission intends to accelerate and digitise its process of identity validation and signature of internal documents in a secure and legal manner.
The Solution:
Using the IDcert and SigningDesk solution, a subscription portal has been developed (EUSign), allowing EC employees to use Qualified Signatures remote for contract signatures and other documents, supported in an identity validation process through video conferencing.
The Result:
EC employees have a remote validation process according to Reg. eIDAS provided by DigitalSign, allowing them to quickly issue a Digital Certificate Qualified and then qualified to sign, on time and anywhere, critical documents of this body in a completely secure manner.
The document signing cycle has been reduced from weeks to minutes and paper consumption has been drastically reduced.
