The Company:
The Geronimo Martins Group is one of the largest Portuguese business groups, with a strong presence in the food distribution sector. It operates in several countries and employs tens of thousands of employees. It therefore manages a large volume of human resources documents on a daily basis. First of all, it was this volume that made processes difficult to control.
The challenge:
The Group wanted to speed up and scan the signature of documents from its Human Resources department. In addition, it intended to eliminate the losses of paper processes. With thousands of employees and hundreds of shops, each contract or shift change generated paper to print, sign and file. As a result, the process was slow, costly and subject to misdemeanors.
The Solution:
DigitalSign has developed an internal portal with solutions Cert ID, for identity validation and onboarding, and DS SigningDesk, for digital signature. On the collaborator's side, the signature is biometric, collected in signature pads. On the administration side, qualified signature is used. Each document is thus signed with full legal value. Currently, the portal is in use in 600 stores.
The Result:
Digital subscription to human resources eliminated tons of paper in shift management and employment contracts. In addition, a process that usually took two weeks was completed in a few minutes.
